  • Initial Consultation (Free)

    A 10-minute free call to discuss your needs, answer initial questions, and ensure the assessment is the right fit for your family.

    Screeners & Questionnaires

    You'll complete standardised questionnaires to gather detailed background information about your young person's development, strengths, and support needs.

    Diagnostic Interview

    A comprehensive interview with parents or caregivers to explore developmental history, current functioning across environments, and contextual factors affecting your young person.

    School Observation & Assessment

    Observation at school (where applicable and with school agreement) and play-based or direct assessment with your young person. If school observation isn't possible, we'll explore alternative settings like home.

    Information Gathering from Reports & Teachers

    We gather information from existing reports (psychological, educational, speech pathology, occupational therapy) and may liaise with teachers and other professionals to build a complete picture.

    Formulation & Report Writing

    We synthesise all information gathered across the assessment process to create a detailed formulation and comprehensive written report with practical recommendations for home and school.

    Feedback Session

    A thorough feedback session with parents and caregivers to discuss findings, answer questions, and explore how recommendations can be implemented at home and school.

    NDIS

    Use of NDIS funding for assessment is considered on a case-by-case basis and must align with a participant's plan and goals. We will provide a clear quote to support this process and discuss any potential out-of-pocket costs with you before proceeding.

    Medicare Rebates

    Medicare rebates may be available for eligible clients under 25 years through the Complex Neurodevelopmental Conditions framework. We can discuss eligibility during your initial enquiry.

  • Most comprehensive assessments are completed within approximately 4 weeks from initial consultation to feedback session. Timeframes vary depending on complexity, availability, and school scheduling.

    Urgent assessments may be prioritised where circumstances require.
